Delhi Farmers Protest: Farmer leader Sukhwinder Singh Sabhara claimed that 200 farmer unions will march towards Delhi on Tuesday. Section 144 is in force in Delhi for one month.
Delhi Chalo Protest: In view of the farmers' movement, Section 144 has been imposed in Delhi for a month. The Delhi Police has implemented Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) throughout the national capital for a month in anticipation of massive tension and social unrest caused by the farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' march. Section 144 will make it illegal to host gatherings, processions, or demonstrations, as well as to enter the national capital with tractor trolleys transporting people.

Punjab (Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee) KMSC President Sukhwinder Singh Sabhara said, "Tomorrow morning...200 farmer unions will march towards Delhi...to complete the movement which was left incomplete...Farmers from 9 states Unions are in touch… Puducherry, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, MP, UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab, all these states are ready for agitation.
Ban on tractor rallies in Delhi
Through the order issued by Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, a ban has been imposed on taking out any kind of rally or procession and blocking roads and routes. This order will be in force from 12 February to 12 March. Tractor rallies are not allowed to enter the national capital's limits, according to Delhi Police guidelines. Delhi Police have also issued a traffic advice.
There is a possibility that farmers from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana will try to enter Delhi during March. The Delhi Police Commissioner's order issued on February 11 said that Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) (non-political), Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and several other farmer unions and associations have approached Parliament to press for their demands. 'Delhi Chalo' march has been announced on 13 February with the aim of protesting outside.
Danger of violence- Police
"There is a risk of widespread tension, public nuisance, public disturbance, social unrest and violence as march participants enter the New Delhi area," it said.
Difficulties may arise for the people of Delhi
"The people participating in the protest are likely to use tractors, trolleys, trailers as a mode of transport to enter Delhi which will inevitably create a major threat to the roads," the order said. And this may create problems for the movement of people on the roads and for the residents of Delhi.
Ban on these things
"There is a possibility that some anti-social elements, protesting groups may take advantage of the situation and indulge in activities detrimental to peace, public order as well as law and order in Delhi," it said in the order. It has been said that there will also be a ban on carrying substances like acid, explosives, firearms or weapons in public places within the Delhi area.
Orders for thorough inspection of vehicles
The order also said that the police will conduct strict and thorough checking of all vehicles coming from the borders of adjacent districts of the states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The order further states that there will be a ban on inciting emotions, raising slogans, giving speeches or sending messages through oral, written or electronic means.
Internet shut down in many districts of Haryana
Gurugram administration is also alert regarding the farmers movement. Strict security arrangements have been made in view of the farmers' movement in many districts of Haryana. Internet services have also been stopped in many districts. Vigilance is also being taken by the district administration of Gurugram, but District Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav says that no effect of this movement is visible in Gurugram. The District Deputy Commissioner also says that complete vigilance is being maintained on all the borders of Gurugram. But at present no influence of farmers is visible in this movement in Gurugram.
Section 144 imposed in Jhajjar
Meanwhile, Jhajjar Police issued advisory for those going to Delhi. Those going to Delhi from Rohtak-Jhajjar will have to go to Delhi via Farrukhnagar, Gurugram. Haryana Police has made three layer barricading near Sector 9 turn of Bahadurgarh. Section 144 has also been imposed in Jhajjar. Two companies of paramilitary and 9 companies of Jhajjar police are ready for security.
