Champai's gift of 125 free units electricity to the public of Jharkhand as he becomes Chief Minister.
Jharkhand's new Chief Minister Champai Soren has announced a big gift to the people as soon as he takes charge of the state. CM has decided to provide 125 units of free electricity to the public. Now electricity subsidy has been increased to 125 units instead of 100 units. In this regard, he has instructed the Energy Department to prepare a proposal.
Chief Minister Champai Soren gave many important instructions in the meeting held in the Jharkhand Ministry regarding revenue receipt and expenditure for the financial year 2023-24. Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretary level officers of various departments participated in the meeting. On this occasion, the CM took information about the budgetary provisions and actual receipts and expenditure of various departments. He also gave necessary instructions to the officers while reviewing the schemes run by various departments.
Chief Minister gave instructions to officials to set targets
Chief Minister Champai Soren also directed all departments to speed up the work of various schemes. He said that the public should get maximum benefit from it. In the meeting, the Chief Minister asked the officials to further improve the financial management. He said that now less than 2 months are left for the end of the current financial year. In such a situation, all departments should speed up the expenditure of their budget so that they can meet the set target.
Provision for action against misuse of schemes
He directed to ensure the execution of the applications received under the program ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’. Along with this, he also gave many important instructions. These include creating a permanent waiting list for the Abua Housing Scheme. Instructions were also given to immediately remove all the discrepancies in this scheme. Along with this, it was also said that a provision should be made for action against misuse of this scheme.
CM Champai Soren directed to ensure presence of doctors in all government hospitals. He asked the farmers to ensure timely payment of paddy purchase amount by the government. Besides, the officials were instructed to soon complete the process of giving grains to green ration card holders every month and increasing the commission of PDS dealers.
New colleges will be built in Bandgaon, Nawadih and Potka Chakulia.
CM asked to quickly complete the process of appointment of teachers for tribal languages ​​and start the initiative of providing Guruji Credit Card to all the students of class 12th. Regarding the arrangement of food etc, instructions were also given. for the students living in the Scheduled Caste-Scheduled Tribe hostel and the construction of a multi-storey hostel. Along with expansion of 325 block level schools of excellence, a proposal to build new colleges in Nawadih, Potka Chakulia and Bandgaon was passed. Instructions were given to start the appointment process of professors in universities and colleges soon.
All roads older than 5 years will be repaired
The Chief Minister also directed to repair all roads older than 5 years. Officials told in the meeting that 15 thousand kilometers of rural roads have to be repaired in the state. In this, approval has been given to repair 9 thousand kilometers of road. Apart from this, in the meeting the officials were instructed to start a campaign to select women who have completed the age limit of 50 years for the Universal Pension Scheme. Under the Chief Minister Livestock Scheme, cattle fair will be organized in all the districts. Construction of one lakh Birsa irrigation wells will start soon. The filing-dismissal will be executed and the tax receipt will be issued on time.
28 thousand Sido-Kanhu Club formed
The Chief Minister asked to complete the process of formation of Sido-Kanhu Club soon. Officials told the Chief Minister that 28 thousand Sido-Kanhu clubs have been formed in the entire state and the process of its registration is going on. All registered clubs will be given Rs 25,000 every year. Instructed also to start the Chief Minister Rural Vehicle Scheme immediately. Officials said that 80 vehicles have been purchased under this scheme and it will be made operational in a week.
