Mahapanchayat' of farmers in Ramlila Maidan in Delhi today, with strong presence of security personnel

Farmer organizations will gather at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on Thursday to discuss their concerns. Recently, the Delhi Police granted permission to the United Kisan Morcha to host a Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat in Ramlila Maidan under severe restrictions. Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has announced that a Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat would be held at Ramlila Maidan, with a resolve to escalate the battle against the government's policies.


Permission given under these conditions.

The Delhi Police has granted permission to farmer organizations for Mahapanchayat, but with stringent restrictions. The Delhi Police has ordered farmers not to gather more than 5,000 people, not to bring tractors, and not to march in Ramlila Maidan. Farmers have been instructed to leave the grounds immediately after the Mahapanchayat concludes at 2.30 p.m.
